Faversham’s Town Centre has tremondous character, with The Guildhall being the first
thing that is noticed on entering the Market Place. With the historic Market held
under and around The Guildhall providing the right setting for browsing at your leisure
and Cafe’s & Pubs dotted around to suit that raging thirst, sweet tooth , hunger
pains or that quick caffeine hit. Faversham holds and controls an original of “The
Magna Carta” and as Michael Caine is always saying, not a lot of people know that.
Plus has one of the most traditional Cinema’s in the country, you can almost imagine
yourself being in the movie “Last Action Hero”, when visiting. Just a stones throw
away you can organise a Shepherd Neame brewery tour with one of the oldest breweries
in the country. If you are a real local foodie then The Faversham Food Festival
is worth a trip out. Love them or hate them Faversham has its fair share of Charity
Shopsin easy walking distance from the centre.
